Introducing our new Blueberry Macaron! Many of you had requested this dairy-free option. It features the beloved American berry known for its delightful balance of sweetness and subtle tartness. This combination creates a unique and vibrant flavor profile. It will satisfy those who find the blackcurrant too sour for their liking.

Blueberries

Native to North America, blueberries have been enjoyed for centuries. Known as a superfood, these small, nutrient-rich berries are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and health benefits. Their sweet yet slightly tart flavor makes them incredibly versatile in a variety of culinary applications, from smoothies to desserts. Blueberries’ seasonal abundance, combined with their delicious taste and health properties, has solidified their status as one of America’s favorite fruits.

For pairing with a Blueberry Macaron, consider the following wine options:

  1. Moscato: A sweet and fruity Moscato complements the blueberries’ sweetness, creating a harmonious balance.
  2. Riesling: Choose an off-dry Riesling to pair well with the tartness of the blueberries, enhancing their flavor profile.
  3. Prosecco: The light bubbles and crisp acidity of Prosecco provide a refreshing contrast to the macaron’s richness.
  4. Blush or Rosé: A fruity Rosé brings out the berry notes and adds a delightful freshness to the pairing.
  5. Champagne: The effervescence and elegance of Champagne can elevate the experience, making it a sophisticated choice.

The blueberry macaroons say dairy free but ingredients show butter and cream and egg as an allergen. Are these vegan?
